Another table ReVaMp!

I got bored over the summer and wanted to re-do another table.
So I checked out all the local thrift places! Oh wait, there
are none in Delta!! I did go to Deans, but to no avail....
So I checked out ksl and much to my surprise there was
a table for sale! Just like I wanted:) I have been wanting
one with an intricate design on it and I found it! Woot!
So after looking at it for months and not doing anything about
it, I finally broke down and sanded it. It had like 3 inches of this
hardener on it that made it look absolutely terrible. And I must add,
it was a bugger to sand off. I will never ever ever buy a table that
needs that much sanding!!! Or any at all for that matter. ha. I usually
skip the sanding process and just prime, but I certainly could not on
this such project. So after a full day of sanding, my arms were shaky and
I could finally move on to the priming part, which is easy peasy.
Primed! Now on to color:) I had already done a
turquoise, red and ivory table. Not all on one table I might
add, 3 seperate tables! haha. So I needed something new...
I choose a color called Bauhaus Gold from Krylon. When I got
it on I was a bit worried because it looked more like a school bus
then a gold-ish color. Granted I wasn't going for gold, I was going
for the yellow look, I was just worried it was too much!
But after I glazed in all those nooks and crannys, it really calmed it down
and gave my house the pop of color I was going for! I am
so happy with all the detail on it! It looks sooo much better than it did before!

Utes Game!

Usually we go to the Utah vs. BYU game. But since they are
in the Pac12, nobody can afford that anymore. ha. So we
went to Utah vs. Colorado. And the Utes went and lost.
Colorado hadn't won a road game until this day. Pssh. Disappointment.
But we had fun anyways! Here is Randy and Lesa.
 And Kaitlynn and Alexis.
 And Gene and I!

After the game we were treated to some shopping and
dinner to make us feel better! haha

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving this year was held at my sisters house down
in St. George. This was her first time hosting, and it was awesome!
Good food, good family, good times:)
We got a few family pictures taken.
Thought this one was pretty funny. Their was an
ant on the tree and Camrynn was quite concerned! haha
I slacked off and didn't get many photos. Just of them playing
a little keep away in the yard:)
No family or keep away balls were hurt during this filming.
Close calls, but that was it! haha

Halloween 2011

For Halloween this year Camrynn choose to be her favorite character out
of a book. 'Fancy Nancy'. She is a red headed fancy girl:)
Just like Camrynn!
The lighting is pretty bad since it was 7 in the morning and
dark outside! But she had a great Halloween, and the weather was super
nice so we didn't even have to wear coats! And she made a haul out
here in good ol' Deseret! They sure know how to give treats here:)

Moving

In October we bought out 2nd home. It is located in Deseret
and has a great backyard! I don't have any photos, I will post as
we update the place:)
But Oakley sure didn't know what the heck was going on!
Why are they loading all their stuff into the truck? He thought it
would be best if he loaded himself in the truck so he wouldn't be left behind:)
He had such a look of concern on his face! It was pretty funny:)
We wouldn't leave him behind!!

Camrynn's first friend party!

Camrynn got to have her very first friend party this year, and
boy was she thrilled! She invited 8 of her closest friends and all
of them were able to come. We didn't plan much, just let them run around
the park and then had cupcakes and ice cream and opened presents!
They all were sent home with their own goodie bag filled with
princess things, of course, and a balloon:)
Here she is opening all her gifts! She got so many good things!
And here are all the cute girls!
Everything went off without a hitch, except the park had a bee problem.
Which made for alot of high pitched screaming:)

Winner!

Back in September Delta Elementary was participating in a
statewide contest. All you had to do was bike or walk to school
for 4 days each week. Since Camrynn obviously couldn't walk the
7 miles to school;) haha. They counted the out of towners as
playing outside 4 days each week. Easey Peasey. So you filled it
out on the calender and sent it in to the school at the end of the month.
Well a bunch of time passed and then one day Camrynn comes
toting this box home from school. I wondered what the heck it was.
Well we opened it up and she had won (out of 4,000 kids statewide) a new helmet
and a new BIKE!!! Well a $75 gift card to buy a new bike! She was so thrilled,
and so were we! She got her picture taken and was in the local paper and everything.
She was the only one out of the whole school to win anything!!
Way to go Camrynn!!!

Camrynn's 7th Birthday!

Camrynn turned 7 in October! And boy did she get spoiled:)
She got one of her favorite books. Notice the similiarities?!?
Look at the haul! Grandma and Grandpa Pace spoiled her
with all the princess baribies! It was just what she wanted:)
Here she is holding up her preemie pjs!
Hard to believe those were big on her!
She sure is growing up too fast:(

A Ride in the Big Rig

Gene's dad drive for Great Basin Dairy Group and drives through Delta.
One day we were heading to Beaver on the day he was driving through.
So he stopped and picked up Camrynn and let her ride with him:)
It was all she talked about for days!!

September 2011

September brought on the Pace Family Reunion at our Ranch.
We thought it was going to turn out terrible because all it
did was rain all day on Friday, but the rest of the weekend was divine:)
Camrynn learned how to shoot Brendan's bow:)
Here is most of the grandchildren!
We discovered my brother Mikes real talent. Calling Cows:)
All he had to do was yell 'Come Cows!' and they all came running!
Aw. Nothing like a camping picture when we all look our best!
They are getting a kick out of Mike's cow calling abilities:)
And Oakley enjoyed the reunion too! What a better way to get around?
