Disneyland Day 3

Day 3 was our final day at Disneyland.

We had it all mapped out on what rides

we hadn't went on yet, and which

rides we needed to ride again:)

And what is Disneyland without Mickey Mouse

Ears? And your name on the back? They

had so many cute ones to choose from. I tried

to talk Gene into getting a hat since it was

also his first time at Disneyland, but he refused:(

We tried to ride this Autotopia ride, but this was

as far as me and Mom got. Dad, Gene and

Camrynn at least made it onto the course

before they stopped it! Apparently some people

were using them as bumper cars and they got stuck

together. Thanks for ruining the ride for everyone else!

On a happy note, we got these fast pass things that

we used to jump to the beginning of the Finding Nemo ride

and Splash Mountain!!

Speaking of Splash Mountain...

I HATED Splash Mountain! haha. If you look at

the picture, you can see me cowering in the back!

haha. Camrynn is doing the same thing, but she loved

it! Everyone else said they liked it too, but I

think my dad was fibbing ;)

And here we are at the end of the day...

We look a little tired and worn out

but we all had a BLAST! What a fun

fun time:) A super duper big thanks to

my Mom and Dad!! Love ya!

I also have to add a couple things. The motel we stayed at was AWESOME! They had the usual Continental Breakfast, but on top of that they served a free, yes free, dinner!! Who does that? But it was a lifesaver and sure saved us some money! And they were super nice, and not far from Disneyland:) Another thing I forgot to mention- when we were at California Adventure, Camrynn rode the Tower of Terror... Yes. The one that take your up like 13 stories and just drops you. And she loved it!! She is her fathers child:)

Disneyland Day 2

Day 2 of Disneyland was acutally

spent at California Adventure! It was

alot of fun, but it compares to Lagoon,

and personally I think Lagoon may be better:)

It has alot of rollarcoaster type rides, and that

just is not MY thing:)

Camrynn ran into Lightning McQueen and Mater! Here we are squashing grapes with our feet... haha. Just kidding, but we had to get a family pic! Me and Dad both tend to get naseous on rides, so why ride them and be sick at Disneyland? haha. So he spent most of the time photgraphing everyone, so I had to get one of him:) Camrynn and Grandma on one of the Bug's Life rides. Pretty mellow, but yes, it gave me a headache... Boo:( So I wasn't about to go on this spinning contraption. Luckily Gene has himself a riding buddy. Camrynn was more than happy to go on every ride that she could! Gene had to go on this rollarcoaster all by himself!! I wasn't about to die... And Camrynn was too small:( Sad for Camrynn, happy day for me, since I wouldn't have to worry! Camrynn met Mr. & Mrs. Incredible... They were... incredible:)

And then she would just laugh so hard!

Makes me worried about when she

gets a drivers license:)

We blazed through California Adventure in

one day and had a good time:) Our favorite

ride there had to be Soarin' Over California.

Gene's was probably the rollar coaster!

Camrynn hated the bugs life in 3D though!

Because it sprays you and the chair has little

'bugs' running beneath it:) She wasn't so sure!

Disneyland Day 1

Camrynn has been saving money in her

piggy bank for a long time so she could

go to Disneyland! So we took her money

out and counted it and then the day we

were planning to leave told her she had

enough money for Disneyland!! So off

we went! We hadn't told her we were

going until that point, so she thinks

she bought her own ticket to Disneyland:)

Here we are- Entering the happiest place on Earth! Camrynn posing in front of the famous castle:) This is the train ride that went around the park, it was fun, but kinda chilly! Camrynn and her daddy making a wish in Minnie's wishing well.

We chased Goofy down so we could get pics with

him! He is my brother Mikes favorite character:)

This was one of Camrynn's favorite rides:

Thunder Mountain. Except she wasn't

fond of the thunder or bats;)

She had to ride it a couple times!

Gene and Camrynn are in the middle

section. If you look closely you can

see Camrynn's arms in the air!

I can tell you one thing, she sure is

daring! She loves, loves, loves rides!!

Here we are on the Small World boat.

It used to be my favorite ride as a child,

but now it is kinda annoying:) I still

can't get that song out of my head!!

Gene hated it! haha! But it was

a nice mellow ride, and that is what I like!

And that concludes Day 1! The day started

off chilly and cold and was even raining pretty

hard. But we put a stop to the rain as soon as we

paid top dollar for some ponchos;)

The day ended fairly warm though and we

had made good time through the park

and hardly had to stand in any lines!

Newport Beach 2010

A couple weeks ago we went to Disneyland

with my parents. The first day we drove to

Primm Nevada and stayed the night

and shopped at the outlet mall.

Day 2 we drove to California and hit

the beach!

Camrynn was so excited to play at the

beach. This it her second time at one,

and she could have played all day!

The weather was kinda cold and rainy,

but we still played in the water and

sand and looked for seashells!

Having fun:) This was Gene's first time to the beach!

We had to pry Camrynn away from

the beach, she didn't want to leave!

Easter 2010

Easter was a hit this year

with Camrynn! The Easter bunny

got her everything she has been

wanting, so she was happy:)

She found all the hidden easter eggs

super fast! Next year the Easter bunny will

know to hide more eggs, and to hide

them in trickier places:)

One of her build a bears got a new Easter

outfit, thanks to Grandma Pace!

And the Easter bunny left Camrynn

a hula hoop, a Zhu zhu pet, and

and Ariel doll. (The last of the collection!)

Not to mention bunches of candy!!

Every year we go Geo-Caching. It is

basically a treasue hunt for grown ups:)

Using a GPS, you find coordinates and

there is a box hidden full of treasures.

This year we didn't have as much luck.

We found 2 small ones, but they were

kinda stupid. And 2 we couldn't find!

But we did see this grave!

It was pretty cool, I like to see stuff

like this. And a story to go with it is

even better!

Here we are at one of the caches. It was

just a pill bottle, hidden in the middle

of this bush. Kind of a bust!!! But we

had a good time driving around out

west! It was so cold and windy, we had

to picnic inside the truck though!

But all in all it was a great Easter!

Easter Traditions

It isn't Easter for me, unless your in

Delta and go to Quality and get

your limit of 10 cent hot dogs!!

There is something about them

that is SO tasty:)

And what makes it even better?

Winning groceries!!! YAY!

Gene and I both won a bag! So did:

Lesa and Heather! And I also won

that fancy Mt. Dew hat! And

Lesa, Cheyenne & Dallas all won

one too! And this was all on the

same round! It was our lucky

day:) Either that, or they wanted

to get rid of us!! haha!

Then we went and colored Easter eggs

and made Easter crafts! Here is Camrynn painting her bunny magnets:)

And this is the finshed project:)

It was a fun day! We also went

swimming with the Allred Family!

Easter Hunt!

Every year we go to the Easter

Egg hunt in Hinckley. This year

it was freezing! But we all managed

to have fun in the 12 minutes it

takes to get it done:)

they were falling out as fast as she was

picking them up! She had fun!

5th Anniversary

Gene and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary!

We both had to work all day, so when I got

off work at 8 we went to dinner at Applebee's!

We even had a gift certificate, so we

celebrated for free:)

It was nice to go to dinner just the

2 of us!

Gene bought me this cardigan that

I wanted from Down East:) And Gene got 4 tickets to go see Brian Regan down at Tuachan in May! We are going with our friends Kelly & Trevor! I have had these tickets for a long time now, and I'm excited I won't have to keep them a secret any longer!! Happy Anniversary!
