Happy 25th Birthday Gene!

Gene celebrated his birthday Christmas

Day so we celebrated later in the afternoon,

so we could seperate Christmas from

his birthday:) He got 2 Wii controllers

from his Mema and Papa, and Ashley.

Also the Transformers movie too!

It was just what he wanted ;)

Now we can all play the Wii together,

and we all did!! It was a bunch of fun

to play the Wii with all of the family here!

From me and Camrynn he got bed rail caps

for his truck. Just what he wanted! Too bad

he has to wait until warmer weather to

put them on!! haha. He also got a camo

sweatshirt from my parents and his favorte

candy cake and a tasty ham dinner:)

Christmas 2009

CHRISTMAS 2009!!

This year for Christmas Gene's Mema and family

came for Christmas! They stayed for almost a

week and the week was full of fun, family and

food! I think everybody had an enjoyable time

visiting and it was great to be able to have them

at our home for Christmas. Gene's sister Heather

and her family came Chrsitmas afternoon and stayed

the weekend also!

Camrynn the poser:) This is Christmas

afternoon when the Valerio's showed up. My parents also came by Saturday afternoon to celebrate Christmas and swap presents. This year was our first year not going home for Christmas so it was bittersweet. Here Camrynn in with some of her gifts from Grandma & Grandpa Pace. More presents! We all sure were spoiled this year:)

We had a great Christmas and thank everyone

who came by and visited and those who

spoiled us with wonderful gifts. But mostly

we are happy we got to spend it with our familes.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we open our new pajamas.

Camrynn got 2 new pair of Pj's.

And I got 2 new pairs of pajamas too!

Why? Because I'm the one who

buys them and I couldn't decide

which one I wanted, so I got them both:)

This year I tried something new, and

I made cheeseballs! They turned

out wonderfully:) Or at least I thought

so!! And they were super easy. I

made one for a work party,

one for a friend, and one for

the family on Christmas.

I also made Camrynn pajama pants

for the first time! I haven't made pj's

since home-ec in middle school! haha.

I think they turned out super cute and

I'm excited for her to wear them:)

Yay for me! haha!

Annual dinner w/ Thayers!

Friday night was our annual Christmas dinner

witht the Mandi and Ben and Ryker Roo!

We do dinner each year instead of gifts,

and that makes everyone happy!

Mandi and I deciced to go to Chili's since

neither of us wanted to cook:)

Here is the whole gang! Mmm, it was good!

Afterwards it was off to the Thayers house

for some yummy cheesecake, compliments

of chef Mandi, and some visiting.

The kids spent the night playing while

we laughed and talked!

Camrynn and Ryker sure are buds!

Polar Express

All aboard!!! :) My parents took us on the Polar Express this year in Heber City! My brother Mike and his family came along too. Here is the train. We were on the caboose:) Here we all are, ready to board! Minus Mom who was taking the picture:) It had started to snow and was very cold, but it seemed appropriate! The elves passed out cookies and hot chocolate and read the book 'Polar Express'. Then Santa boarded the train! (This is as good of a picture I could get) Santa gave each child a bell off his sleigh, just like in the book:) We sang Christmas carols and the children got to participate and ring the bells. They even roped all the men on the train into doing a song and it was funny to see Dad, Gene & Mike act out their part!! Mrs. Clause also boarded the train and handed out recipes and spoke to all the children! It was a fun experience (besides the 1-dimensional woman HA!) and Camrynn loved it!!!

Utes Vs. BYU 2009

Every year Genea parents take us and

Heather and Dallas to

the awesome Utah Vs BYU game.

This year it was in Cougar country and

we went to the annual Utes tailgate party

where we had good food and fun:)

As I am sure all of you know the Utes lost

this year. But it was a really good game. It

went into over time with BYU winning by 3.

We were in a sea of BYU fans and they were

super nice this year. The first year I went they

were all awfully mean and so this year was much

better!! It was a good time and I can't wait

to go next year when it will be at the U of U

stadium and we the 'classless' Utes fans

can dominate:) See you there!!

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving this year was spent in Delta

at my parents house. Not all of our family

was able to make it this year, so it

was a small get together but it was good!

Thanks Mom:) And here we are nice and stuffed afterwards! It was an all around good day, but cut short because Gene and I had to come back and work Black Friday. Boo!!

Finally! Halloween!

Well, our computer broke down the end

of October. We got a new computer, but all our

pictures were still on the other one! So I am

just now getting my pictures back, and

blogging about Halloween! Sorry so late:)

Every year we get the pumpkin pizza from

Papa Murpheys! It is yummy and

quick and easy! Plus festive:)

Camrynn just HAD to be a princess this year.

So she was Cinderella... original, I know:)Ben and Mandi came by to trick-or-treat and

brought Tigger along! I mean Ryker:)

It was a candy packed Halloween!

Puppy Sitting

A couple weekends ago we puppy sat

for a friend of ours. This is Callie,

isn't she a cute little thing!

Our cat Skeeter apparently thinks he is

a dog. They wrestled like this all weekend! I like how Callie is 'hiding'!! haha.

haha.

It was fun for a few days, but I forgot

how much of a handful puppies are!

They are exhausting:)

On the 14th we got together with my parents to

have dinner in Milford. It was a combined birthday

party with my dad and Camrynn!

from my parents:)

Mandi and Ben got her a princess coloring

book, and some cool twistable colored pencils

and crayons! This is how she sat for a long

time! Just looking at her princess book!

She loved it!!! haha.

And since she recently learned how to ride her

bike, she got a new big girl bike for her

birthday! (plus the neighbor girl broke her other bike)

She was so excited to pick it out!

We didn't have a party this year. It was just

our little family and we spent the day doing

whatever Camrynn wanted to do!

We went to the movie "Cloudy with a

chance of Meatballs". It was a cute movie!

Then we went and picked out her new bike,

went to lunch at McDonalds (woo!) and played there.

Then home for presents, cake and another movie!

Monsters VS Aliens this time. I think Camrynn

had a good day, and it was a relief for me not to

have to plan anything!! haha.

We love you Camrynn, and we can't

beleive your 5!!
