Father's Day!

Happy Fathers Day!

Since Gene is living in Delta now, Camrynn and I

hitched a ride with Mandi to go see Gene and

my dad for Fathers Day:) We also had a baby shower, a bridal shower and a reception to attend

that weekend! So it was a busy weekend. We

also went and looked at a possible place to

rent. So keep your fingers crossed that something

can happen with out house:)

Anways, back to Fathers Day... Gene got a Utes

hat and a dog bone wrench. I thought it was

pretty nifty!! And I got my Dad a tie! haha.

He has been wanting a red tie, so I took the

opportunity to get him one:)

RIP Izzy

Our favorite doggy Izzy passed away

June 2nd 2010

She was such a good dog and never barked!

I loved to see her jump up and down

whenever I walked outside. She

was always so excited to see us!

She had gotten really sick a couple months ago

and the vet said she had liver cancer. He

also said she wouldn't live more than a

week. He doubted she would make it

through the night. She survived that and

had been in the best health that I

had ever seen her in! I thought she

was cured. But she took a turn for the

worse after Memorial Day and I knew

she wasn't going to make it...

I went out early that morning to get her out

of her dog carrier so she could go potty.

She tried to stand up and couldn't, so I

made her comfortable and went to feed

our other dog. When I came back, she

was gone:( I guess she wanted to say

goodbye one last time.

I will miss you Izzy girl! You were a part of our

family for the last 3 years and we loved

every minute of it! At least I know that

All dogs go to heaven!

This month so far...

This month started out with my parents

coming down to visit and we went to

St. George to see my niece Bailey dance

in her dance recital. She did awesome! She

has so much talent:) This is her in the middle

getting her award!

Next up came the Summer Games here in Cedar.

Two of Gene's sister played this year.

Kaitlynn and Miranda. This is Miranda's

team, they ended up taking Silver!

Way to go girls:)

Here is Kaitlynn! I didn't get any good pictures

of her playing, so this one will have to do:)

They didn't place this year, but I think

they had fun anyways!

Hey! If you look between his legs, I

think that is Miranda playing! HAHA!

We all had a good time shopping and

eating and goofing around in general!

This little dude Brayden, sure did

make things fun! He is such a

cutie! Love his cheeks:)

Rabbit Rumble Derby!

The Rabbit Rumble is held every

Memorial Day in Delta. The high school

football team puts on a derby, and derby's are

always great!!!

Gene usually is in the pits with his buddies

who have cars. And this year he spent all day

welding on a friends truck, only for it to

not run. So he got to sit in the stands with us!

I wasn't complaining:)

Shanna and I are big derby fans! We

scream and yell most of the time.

And this it the first time she has been

able to make it to the derby in awhile!

And it was great to see her! It was

like old times:)

One year we took our friends Kelly and Trevor

to the derby in Parowan, and is SUCKED!

There were 3 cars TOTAL.... What a

waste of money. So we finally got them to

come to a REAL derby in Delta! And I

think they had a good time:)

I also showed them the town! And I dragged

it out for over an hour! lol

What's a derby without a truck

that gets flipped over?

I hope the 4th of July Derby is just as great!

I am counting down the days:)
