Fun times in July!

I went to St. George last week to see my friends

Kelly and Trevor! Since St. George is so blasted

hot we took the kids to the splash pad down there!

Camrynn had a ball running through the sprayers:)

And here she is chillin' in the waterfall, so nice on a hot day!

Look at these cute kids:) They just had a

ball of course!! What a fun day!

And on Saturday when my Mom was down

we went to the July Jamboree here in Cedar.

It is a car show, craft boutique, fair thing on

Main Street and it is something we go to every year!

Camrynn enjoyed the bounce houses:)

New/Old End table

I am a big fan of the 'All Things Thrifty'

website and love how she can transform

old things into new thing for CHEAP!

Gotta love the cheap aspect:)

So I have been wanting a table for my

guest room for quite some time. I didn't want

to spend the money for a new one, so I kept my eyes

out for something I could transform!!

And after some time searching, I found

this beauty at Dean's in Delta of all places:)

I didn't get a before picture, this is after I had

primed it. But I love the design on it,

and the legs, and wire on the side! And it

was the perfect size I was looking for!

I choose a color that the 'All Things Thrifty'

girl uses all the time. I love the pop of color!

And since my guest room has alot of blues,

I thought it would go great without looking

overboard:) I am getting more color a little at

a time! Slowly....

After I glazed it (which I learned how to do

off the same website!) I think it turned

out PERFECTLY!!! I love love love it!

And not bad for a first time, right!?!

I did all this for the price of 1 can spray

paint of my choice, 1 can Kilz Primer, and

1 can glaze. My mom is the one who actually

bought the primer and glaze:)

And the table was a steal at $5!!!!

My Mom and I spent the weekend re-doing 3 shelfs also. And they turned out FAB too:)

4th of July

I love the 4th of July, it is my FAVORITE holiday:)

Every year we spend it in Delta, because Delta

ROCKS the 4th!! Sorry my pictures are

backwards, but this is how we spent the 4th...

Derby time!! Woot! Gotta love the derby:)

And I got to go to the derby with a couple of my favorite people- Shanna and Alan!!! We had a lovely time, except the horrible people behind us who were total JERKS! Gene was in the pits of course, and next year he will be doing the Figure 8 races again!

The park is another great thing about the 4th. Good food, good family, good friends and FUN! We love eating there, riding the rides, and buying the crafts:) Well, I love the crafts! Not like I bought anything though;)
