Mini Cheer 2010!

In Delta the Cheerleaders do something

called Mini Cheer. It is where they teach

little kids to be Mini Cheerleaders. (If you

didn't catch that from the name Mini Cheer!)

So for 3 days for 2 hours each day, Camrynn

got to be a Mini Cheerleader! She learned

new songs and a bunch of cheers and had a BLAST!

On Friday they got to go out and cheer

at the football game! There were sure alot

of little girls in red shirts:)

My pictures at the game are kinda fuzzy but

she did such a good job. She jumped

up and down the whole time and did all

the cheers! She even spotted us in the crowd

and kept on waving at us! She had a GREAT time!!

Goodbye bottom teeth!

Camrynn lost her first tooth on August 2nd, 2010!

And her second bottom tooth fell out on

August 10th, 2010!

Two teeth in just over a week! The tooth fairy sure knew the way to our house!

Random Happenings...

The beginning of August, we took two of

Gene's sisters for about 4 days. We had some fun!

We also made them a little bored since we were

in the middle of moving. But I enjoyed having

Alexis and Katie here, even though they tried to

eat us out of house and home:) They did help

a bunch and helped with dinner!

Labor Day weekend we went to our ranch and

rode 4-wheelers. Every year around this time we

make our annual trip to the Deer Camp. It was

a very windy day but we enjoyed our dutch oven dinner

and our ride! We also did some practice shooting:)

Here's Gene taking some shots. We have done alot

of 4-wheeling since moving back to Delta. But I

have failed to get pictures. One of my favorite rides

was with our friends Brian and Kristy etc., we rode over

the mountain from Fillmore to Richfield. It was an

all day thing! We stopped in Richfield for some lunch

at Pizza Hut. It sure did get really cold up on the mountain

and we were a bit unprepared:) But we managed!

Labor Day weekend we also had a family

get-together at the Ridings house in Delta!

We BBQ'ed and played some games outdoors.

We played some night croquet, and had a blast!

I won 2 of 3 games that night! WOOT!

Gene also has taught Oakley how to ride on

the back of his 4-wheeler. It is rather funny to me!

First day of Kindergarten!

Where did the time go?! My baby started

Kindergarten on August 26th!

I cannot believe it. Camrynn

was thrilled of course. She

has been wanting to go to

school since she was 2!

Her teacher is Mrs. Willoughby and there are

22 kids in her class. 16 girls and 6 boys:)

She is only in half day and goes in the

afternoon. I take her to school everyday,

and then she rides the bus home.

She has always wanted to ride a bus.

I have no idea why?!

This is her in her classroom! She was so excited! And I did well too. I didn't even cry! I had a rough time at Back to School night, but I made it through her first day!

Gene's 3rd broken nose...

Delta is all about recreation. So Gene decided to

get in on the action. He decided to play co-ed softball.

The result was his 3rd and most expensive broken nose.

He was in the outfield and took a ball to the nose.

He is so mad about it:) He says the ball grazed the top of his

mitt and WHAM, right into his nose. I heard the noise

was horrific. Yes heard. I didn't get to witness it, I was

in line for cheese fries. Haha. Needless to say, I didn't

get my cheese fries! Camrynn was sure mad about it!

So after a visit to the ER, missing 2 weeks of work,

a trip to a nose specialist in Payson, $1500

later, Gene is all better. But not playing softball this year!!

And not next year if I have any say in it:)

Moved

In June Gene got a job at IPP. He had been trying

to get a job there for about 6 years, so he was thrilled

when he was called in for an interview! If you get an

interview there, you pretty much get the job. So he moved

to Delta in the middle of June. Camrynn and I stayed in

Cedar and stuck it out for a bit. August 1st Camrynn and I

finally moved to Delta!

I sure do miss our house!! I do miss Cedar a bunch.

I miss our house and my job. But it is nice to be in

Delta near family. It stinks that our house

hasn't sold. But we do have it rented out, so that helps.

But it is hard! I miss you house!

We moved to lovely Deseret. Here is the house we are renting. It is quite large. 4 bedrooms and 3 baths! I'm not quite sure what to do with 3 bathrooms! haha. Visitors are welcome! You get your own room and your own bathroom:)
