August

August was exciting! IPP had their annual summer party at Seven Peaks and it was a blast. Luckily only the tube slides were open so I didn't have to be a chicken and back out of going down the rugular slides! Tube only for me!! We also made a weekend trip up to our friends Shanna and Alans! We went to the Hogle Zoo and had a jolly good time:)

Here is Shanna and Alan being attacked by a dinosaur. Alan is scared, but Shanna doesn't even see it coming...

Camrynn got ate by a turtle while we were there. Oh! I must say Hogle Zoo has the. best. ice. cream. Hands down. And I don't even like ice cream!!! Well worth the arm and the leg;)

And August brought the 1st day of school!! And stinkin' early mornings...

Look at my cute little 1st grader:) Her teacher is Mrs. Fowles. I had her for a Kindergarten teacher. Small world, right? Nah. It's a regular occurance in Delta!

On a random note.

*Camrynn was invited to her first 3 friends birthday parties! She has been so excited to go.

*And she started showering instead of taking baths now. That seems so grown up to me:(

*She has lost 5 teeth!

*We have found our first regular babysitter too! She has been great so far and lives just around the corner!

July

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!! JULY!!!! Here is our annual 4th of July family picture:) And this year Camrynn got to ride on the IPP float!! And the best part of the 4th of July? The DERBY!! This is one of Gene's buddies, Gene was on his pit crew and did all the welding for him:) Too bad he can't sit with me during the derby though! These are my derby buddies! No one better to watch the derby with than Shanna:) And Alan too I suppose ;)On July 8th, Ashlyn got married! It turned out great! Welcome to the family Seth!

The 24th of July brings the Hinckley parade! Here is Gene the hottie and Camrynn the cutie:)

At the end of the month, us girls went and had pedicures! Fabulous:)

Sharla seems to be enjoying herself... hahaha!

In July, Gene also got a promotion to Maintanance Assistant! No more labor pool for him. Congrats Gene we are so proud of you!!

June

In June we attended the Riding Family Reunion. It was on Beaver Mountain in a awesome campground! We had bunches of fun:) Gene even took 1st place in the doubles tournament for horseshoes! Go Gene! Cute little trophy you got there;) Camrynn had a good time as always and made some friends (not shown here). haha.

June was the start of softball. Camrynn did pretty good. The first game she had no idea what she was doing and ran from 3rd to the dugout:) But she caught on after that and got better at hitting! She was quite the little runner, she looked like Forest Gump with her held flung back and chest puffed out lifting her knees as far as she could:) It was hilarious! But she is quick!!

May and June also brought high waters thanks to the runoff. This picture is not of a lake, it is the middle of the desert! That's right, the DESERT! Crazy stuff. I guess there were fish in there and everything... It was almost up to the road.

And this is right next to our house. Those are the tops of trees. I must admit, it made me a little nervous! I had many dreams about flooding and having to evacuate! This picture was taken before it even got to it's highest point! I'm for sure moving away from the river, I can't handle living next to it again during next years runoff!

May

In May Camrynn graduated from Kindergarten! Here she is with her home-made hat and cute little smile:) With her friends Libby and Henci Jo.

Camrynn and Mrs. Willoughby! She sure was a great teacher! Camrynn is going to miss her!

Also graduating is Ashlyn, Gene's step sister! Congrats Ashyln! You made it:)

That Beaver High School sure needs to invest in air conditioning or something.

It was freaking hot! We were on the very top row and it was so hot!

6th Anniversary!

I thought I would post some pictures of Gene and I throughout the last six years. I think I uploaded every picture I have of us together. Don't worry, there is only 5:) I believe Camrynn is in every picture with us, or one of us is with Camrynn in a picture, so lo and behold... No pictures of us!! :( This one is funny. Gene loves pictures:) Road Trip to Arizona! Gene is not secretly a chipmunk, he is eating sunflower seeds:) This was in Cinnamon Tree #42. Aw, the memories.... This is when we were apartments managers! We moved up in the world, from a one bedroom to a two!! Woot woot! Gene and I at my parents house. We are so young and funny looking. haha!! And skinny!! This is the only picture from my wedding that is remotely good that I have on my computer. Man we looked young:) And in love!! Aw! Don't worry, we still are! I love that boy, except when he won't smile during pictures....

April

Yay for April! April means Spring and Easter. I love Easter, it is my favorite holiday next to the 4th of July! And did you know that April is the time of year to make a 'grass moustache'?? Camrynn has a good example of how it's done:) Easter means the annual egg hunt in Hinckley! Here is Camrynn with her Aunts Sierra and Alexis. And! Funny Story. During the hunt the kids find eggs, and if your egg has a number in it, you win a stuffed animal! Brayden won this bear! And I happened to look at the tag and there printed on the tag was my name! Jenna Pace!! So we now know they get some of the stuffed animals from the D.I. :) But it was crazy that Brayden, of all the kids, would get it! Camrynn got a cute little elephant:) No name on its tag... haha. Easter also brings Geo-Caching!!!! Every year we go with my family somewhere out west and we look for geo-caches! It is such fun. Here we are in front of some random cave that is home to 'giant eared bats'. Luckily we didn't see any of those giant eared bats:)

March

March brings the beginning of soccer!!! This was Camrynn's first year playing and she loved it!!!!

In March was also Mini Drill with the Tri-dels!

My camera wouldn't work very well,

so this is as good of a picture as I got of the whole night!!

Back to soccer... Camrynn had 5 or 6 other girls on her team,

and I must say she was one of the better players!

Her coach didn't believe this was her 1st year playing.

I guess all those days of practicing soccer with Oakley payed off:)

They don't keep score when they play this young,

but my bet is they won every game but one!

And there was only one shoving/yelling match between Camrynn and another girl;)

February

Well. Nothing happened it February! Oakley turned 4. I think... And I turned a year older. 26. It has all been downhill since then! Had the usual Superbowl party and filed our taxes! Yay! We were lucky enough this year to pay the IRS $6,000!!! I guess that is why I never got my new car :(

January

January was pretty dull for us! Nothing much going on... We got in some shooting time. Camrynn is quite the shot with her new pink 22:) Jezebel here showed up on Gene's 4-wheeler one fall evening and wouldn't leave. She came with a big cut on her chest, so $120 later she was all fixed up and ours:) We posted pictures and tried to find her family, but never did. But we quite liked her until she came up missing in Jaunary:( It was the day I mentioned getting her neutered. Apparently she heard! We sold my Alero so I could get a new car. Sold it in 2 days might I add:) Pretty dang quick!! I still have yet to get my new car though. Something else always comes up! However we did get this.... A brand new Chevy S10!!! Ok. Not new. But Gene is one happy camper and I enjoy driving it around pretending it is a new SUV;)

Oh! I got a job at Delta Drug training to be a Pharmacy Tech! Can I get a woot-woot?!?

Christmas 2010

For Christmas 2010 we had bunches of fun. Camrynn had a school Christmas program and got to wear pajamas to school! We went to many family Christmas parties where we were spoiled with lots of great gifts and fun times:) Breanna and Camrynn gor matching aprons and looked too cute!

Since Gene's birthday is on Christmas, we like to celebrate has birthday later in the day so it seems more like a seperate event:) He got the scope he had been wanting and I had been hiding since July! I got a heck of a deal on it before I left Ace and we moved to Delta...

And I got a bunch of things I wanted too! Probably because I bought it for myself and wrapped it up:) I also got 2 Nooks! I returned them and upgraded to the Nook Color. I love it!!!

Camrynn got a awesome big doll house and a pink 22:) She had been asking Santa for a pink 22 all year long and was so happy to see she got one! Gene will make a hunter out of her yet!

All in all Christmas of 2010 was a good one!
