While out and about over the last couple
of months I have come across a couple
old used and abused end tables.
I decided I could give them a good home
and a complete makeover!
I got this one at Dean's Friday store here in
Delta for $5. With some primer, paint
and glaze it is a whole new table!
It is a bit smaller than I wanted, but it
works for now:)
I have been testing out different colors
to see which ones I like best.
What do you think?
This one came from a storage liquidation/yard sale
and again I only paid $5!
It seemed really bright at first,
but the glaze toned it down
while adding a bit of character.
And this is the first one I did.
If you remember I did a previous post about it.
I really like the design on this one.
And the color:)
I was stupid and didn't get any before or after
pictures. This blue one I got pictures of after
it had been primed. But I have really got
to remember to take pictures so you
can get the full effect!!
Maybe next time...
I am on the look out for a sofa table
or entry table I can re-do.
Any color suggestions??

Those are so cute! I love them all.
I love them, too! :) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the red one!!!! I am a red lover, though. Is it just regular red with black glaze? I want to do it to one of mine.
Thanks! Yes Jessica, I just painted it a cherry red, and then glazed over the top. The glaze came from Home Depot (it's the only place I could find it) I just bought Ralph Lauren faux glaze in a pint size and had them tint it black. I usually prime it first too. Check out the website All Things Thrifty. They give step by step instructions and that is how I learned:)
You are such a creative crafty girl! I may have to copy you! Hope life is treating you well in delta!
